A tour of the owner portal: what owners of STR and LTR properties can view and do.
Purpose
Describes everything an owner can see in the partner portal, so you can set expectations with owners and configure their permissions confidently.
Answer
The portal adapts to the owner's properties and to the permission checklist you set on their owner profile. With full permissions:
For SHORT-TERM RENTAL properties, owners can see: - A reservations list and an occupancy calendar for their properties (guest names hidden by default). - Occupancy and performance summaries. - Published owner statements, with PDF download. - Payout history. - Maintenance tickets on their properties, including repair approval requests waiting on them. - Personal-use: request dates for their own stays, and track approval status. - Reviews for their properties (when review data is available).
For LONG-TERM RENTAL properties, owners can see: - Their tenants and lease summaries. - Rent collection status for their units. - Vacancy overview. - Published owner statements and payout history. - Maintenance tickets and repair approvals. - Shared documents and reports.
Everywhere in the portal, owners can also: - Message your team (Messages). - View documents you have shared with them. - Update their own portal settings (password, language).
Important notes
- Owners only ever see their own properties. Cross-owner access is impossible by construction.
- Statements appear only after you PUBLISH them from the back office.
- Guest names are masked by default; enable per owner only if your management agreement allows sharing guest details.
- Every item above can be switched off per owner from the owner detail page's portal permission checklist.
FAQ
- Can owners create maintenance tickets from the portal?
- They can view tickets and approve repairs; ticket intake is handled by your team so requests stay triaged.
- Can owners see other owners' data if they co-own a building?
- Each owner login sees the properties linked to that owner record only.
