I can't see a property
A property is missing from your list: company, filters, archive status, or permissions.
Purpose
A property you expect is not in your Properties list (or an owner cannot see it in the portal). Work through the causes below — one of them is it.
Possible causes
- You are in the wrong company (properties belong to exactly one company).
- A list filter or search term is hiding it.
- The property was archived.
- Your role lacks property-read permission, or a deny override blocks you.
- For owners: the property is not linked to their owner record, or their portal access is off.
- The property was never actually created (an import may have skipped it).
How to check
- 1Check the company name in the header — switch companies and look again.
- 2Clear all filters and the search box on the Properties list.
- 3Check the archived/status filter — archived properties are hidden by default.
- 4Ask an admin to confirm your permissions under Settings > Users.
- 5For an owner: open the owner profile and verify the property is linked to that owner and portal access is enabled.
- 6If the property came from an import, check Properties > Import results for skipped rows.
How to fix
- 1Switch to the correct company, or ask an admin to invite you to it.
- 2Unarchive the property if it was archived by mistake.
- 3Have an admin grant the property-read permission or remove the deny override.
- 4Link the property to the owner record for portal visibility.
- 5Re-create or re-import the property if it never made it in.
When to contact support
If the property exists, you are in the right company with confirmed permissions, and it still does not appear — contact support with the property name and your user email (category: Property setup).
Important notes
- Nothing self-deletes in Rentivue. A "missing" property is hidden by scope, filter, status, or permission — not gone.
